ĦE205 model
The E205 model was developed with emphasis made to transmit delicate sound nuances, such as characteristic sounds from old guitar models, and sure, real-time picking sound.
A capacitance of 140 pF/m made possible by an exclusive configuration, including the use of the NVW1 OFC for the conductor. The sound throughput fully supports Mid-Hi and transmits the loud sound peculiar to old guitar models. This sound nuance does not become lost when turning down the volume of the guitar. An enhanced flexibility makes the E205 model easy to plug in and out, such as when changing guitars at live performances. A new look and sound quality is featured in the design of the nickel-plated, integrated bronze cap type NP-3 and L-shaped NP-3L series. The L-type NP-3L features a novel angular configuration (Patent pending) which enables easy plug in and plug out. These plugs are ideal for jacks laid out in special angles, such as those on Wah pedals.

ĦV206 model
The "V206 model" is a new cable model added to the Providence Platinum Link series that was designed to directly hook up the cable to a plug using screws. Since solder is not used at the contact points between the cable and the plug, the cable can be freely adjusted to the desired length. Both the cable and the NP-20 and NP-20L plugs were newly developed by Providence exclusively for use with the V206 cable. The cable is made using Providence's original VLK1 OFC and employs a newly designed "tin-plated" ultra densely braided shield along with conductive vinyl containing carbon. This structure gives it the capability of shutting out electromagnetic noise using a thinner and more elastic design than seen in conventional cables. The V206 not only accurately reproduces picking nuances but also produces a "tight" and robust sound with excellent sound projection. The registered Utility Model for the NP-20 Plug utilizes Providence's original integrated structure whereby the cable is fastened together by a pin at the back of the plug and two screws on the plug cap which allow the signal to pass cleanly through.
In addition, because the cable is fastened to the plug by these two screws, this prevents the cable and plug from accidently separating, which is a common occurrence with conventional products of this type. The L-shape plug NP-20L employs Providence's unique 91-degree angular structure. Already a registered Utility Model, this plug allows for smooth insertion and removal of the cable which reduces excessive pressure on guitar jacks and other equipment which uses this configuration.
Both the NP-20 and NP-20L plugs feature a ƒÓ6.3mm diameter plug shaft which provides a perfect fit with inch-sized jacks used with the majority of guitars today and also do not fall out easily or by accident. An increased number of contact points between the plug and jack also provide the additional merit of providing a positive impact on sound quality.
The V206 cable is available in either 3-meter or 5-meter cable models. The NP-20 and NP-20L plugs are marketed separately.
